1962-1966

Four years later, this is the second edition of the Black Vinyl 1-xx series. It is completely reconstructed. The aim is now to present every 7" singles recorded by the Wailers.

Most of these records were issued in Jamaica (mainly under Studio 1 or Coxsone labels) and in UK (mainly under Island label), sometimes with different couplings. Several reprints have also been issued. Most tracks are mono recordings

From March 2012: New revised volume already available: BV 1/01, BV 1/02, BV 1/03, BV 1/04

Remark:
Remaining imperfections (cracks, skips) are inherent to the nature of vinyls. If you have better sound, please contact me (kazo.wailers@laposte.net).
What you have here is the result of hundreds of hours of a very tiring work. Please respect it. Do not sell, do not distribute in MP3 form.

Do You Still Love Me: remains unissued on official CDs in 2012!
One Cup Of Coffee: this was a A-side in JA but was a B-side in UK accompagnying "Exodus".
Tell Them Lord: ripped from Roger Stephens' collection.
Hoot Nanny Hoot: only an overdubbed version has been officially released. This is the unissued original.
Hooligan: coming from a white label, this is the original Hooligan. The officially released one is Hooligan Ska, an alternate.
